Chief Executive Officer

Ted Schultz is a seasoned leader in the utility industry with more than 30 years of experience driving “what’s next” with a relentless focus on providing value to customers. Prior to taking the CEO role at TROVE, Ted spent 4 years at Ecova, an energy and sustainability management company, where he was Senior Vice President of Utility Solutions. He delivered double-digit top-line and bottom-line growth in his business unit prior to the sale of Ecova to GDF Suez.

Ted also spent 13 years at Duke Energy, where he was VP of Marketing and Energy Efficiency. He successfully launched an energy services business, earned top rankings in customer satisfaction and pioneered an innovative business model that turned energy efficiency into a profitable investment. Schultz started his career at NYSEG in Binghamton, NY. He led the distributed computing movement and was Director of Applications and Advanced Technologies upon his departure.

Ted has held several advisory board positions at the national level including: Edison Foundation: EEI Retail Services & Institute for Electric Innovation; National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency; EPRI Energy Services; JD Power Smart Grid Services, and currently serves on the Marketing Executive Conference. Ted holds an MBA, Syracuse University and Bachelor of Science, State University of New York at Albany.

Founder & Chief Business Development Officer

Isaias Sudit is the Founder and first CEO of TROVE before passing the baton to Ted Schultz. Isaias has spent the last 20 years creating and building high growth companies. Prior to founding TROVE, Isaias had launched and developed three companies in technology and data aggregation service industry. In 2004, he started LOC-AID® Technologies, Inc. to focus on the developing LBS market. Prior to that, he founded Datumcom in 1995, which became the leading international supplier of vehicle-based positioning services and infrastructures. Isaias led the transition of Datumcom into the telematics field, where the company became a leader at the intersection of communications, computing, and vehicles. Veridian (now General Dynamics) acquired his first venture, Datumtech, in 1997.

Isaias has raised over $30+ million in investment capital for his ventures, and is an active member in the South Florida entrepreneurial community. He sits on the advisory board of three organizations; Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), The Idea Center at Miami Dade College, and the University of Miami SBA Entrepreneurship Board. Isaias holds Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from The Ohio State University.

Adam Stotz

Adam Stotz, PH.D

Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Adam Stotz is an expert in the fields of data informatics and data fusion. As CTO of TROVE, he is leading the commercialization of the data science and technologies initially proven successful in the Defense and Intelligence Community. He has procured and led over $10M of funded data fusion and information systems research and development for the Department of Defense as a Principal Scientist and Director of the Net-centric Applications Area at CUBRC. Through his experience in technical and managerial leadership, he helped grow his division from 2 to 75 people. He received a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
